Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually happening.
